A technology architect and innovator with over 25 years of deep-rooted, hands-on experience, operating beyond conventional roles to design, scale, and deploy intelligent systems and digital infrastructures.
My work is not confined to development alone, it extends into problem discovery, system thinking, and real-world transformation, where technology is shaped to serve human needs at scale.
Recently invited to address students function held at IIT Madras Research Park sharing insights on: "How to Identify Real Problems and Invent Solutions That Create Impact" This reflects a core part of my journey, not just building systems, but guiding thought processes that lead to innovation.
I was honored to be the recipient of the "Change Maker of the Year" Award, a distinction formally presented by a former Indian Ambassador.
Measurable Societal Impact
Recognized for contributions that create measurable societal impact through technology.
Consistently acknowledged for work that goes beyond engineering into practical
transformation.
My work emphasizes making public systems more transparent and user-friendly. A defining moment in this journey occurred when my technological contributions were publicly praised by the renowned actor Rajkiran.
His acknowledgment highlighted the profound social value of these innovations, which directly paved the way for higher-level official collaborations.
Special Intensive Revision (SIR)
Collaborated with Chennai election officials during SIR processes. Designed systems to
simplify administrative workflows and drastically enhance accessibility for the general
public.
This work and its practical impact on society were subsequently recognized through national media, including an interview with PTI (Press Trust of India) and ANI, bringing the importance of accessible public systems to the forefront.
Bridging the Digital Parity Gap: The information once reserved for the elite with high-speed fiber is now flowing into the hands of villagers via Arivu's invisible knowledge bridge. It can browse the live web, extract exact information, and even "watch" videos to summarize them—all 100% offline via legacy cellular protocols.
I created an AI-powered platform to bring unprecedented transparency to the Tamil Nadu 2026 Assembly Elections. For the first time, everyday citizens had direct, instant access to comprehensive candidate details—including declared wealth, educational background, and party history.
Traditionally, this level of complex civic data was only curated and published by major news channels. I democratized it, allowing anyone to easily find full candidate profiles party-wise, district-wise, or simply by typing the first three characters of a candidate's name.
Massive Public Adoption
The platform successfully served over 100,000 users during the election
period. The overwhelmingly positive public feedback proved that when complex civic data is
simplified through AI, it empowers people to make highly informed democratic choices.
Create exams that are instantly compatible with Canvas, Moodle, and other LMS platforms. The specialized QTI format support removes all technical barriers for teachers.
Save hours of preparation time. Generate MCQs, True/False, and Short Answer assessments with high accuracy, allowing educators to focus on teaching rather than administrative tasks.
Beyond generation, the platform can conduct exams instantly on the web and provide immediate results, making it a complete end-to-end evaluation tool.
A few AI apps like the App for Disabled people are redefining how the visually impaired engage with the world. This system enables independent navigation and real-world awareness, allowing users to perceive and act with a newfound sense of control.
Specifically designed for **Tamil Nadu State Board students**, this AI app allows students to ask questions directly from their textbooks (both book-back and internal). It provides answers strictly from the curriculum rather than general knowledge, ensuring students can secure full marks.
Bridging the gap between human language and machines. This system brings the power of AI to those who think and interact in their native tongue, democratizing access to high-end technology for everyone.
Watch the firsthand experiences of people whose lives were fundamentally changed by these intelligent systems.
My work extends beyond digital screens into the physical world, where technology interacts directly with people and environments.
I created the first-ever Tamil-speaking robot capable of understanding and physically responding to Tamil commands over a decade ago—well before the modern AI Era.
This groundbreaking creation was designed to bridge the gap between human language and machines in real-world environments, and it was even featured on television at the time, showcasing that innovation extends far beyond digital screens.
"Building technology that people can see, hear, and interact with—demonstrating that innovation can be experienced physically."
My journey in innovation didn't begin in this modern era of ubiquitous technology; it started at the age of 18. Over 20 years ago—at a time when computer usage was extremely rare and long before the rise of platforms like Facebook, YouTube, or the modern smartphone era—I developed Quran Kalanjiam.
This was a pioneering Tamil Quran Search software, built to solve the complex challenge of digital indexing and accessibility for regional language scriptures when the internet and digital literacy were still in their absolute infancy.
"This reflects a journey of consistent problem-solving that spans over 20 years of hands-on programming evolution."
